About the Shop

Who are we?

We are your favorite Utah local bike shop. Run by a bunch of outdoor lovin' people.

What's our mission?

To get you on your dream bike and out on the trails that we all love so much, where you might just bump into a few of us.

How do we differ?

A bike shop is a bike shop right? WRONG! We aim to please here. When we say we want to put you on your dream bike we mean it. You want a custom build, you got it. You want that specific seat post clamp, dropper lever, chain color, bottle cage, (etc. you get the idea) we will do our best to get it in for you.

We can do a basic build that you see on our brands websites or we can spice it up a bit. It's all up to you, and your bank account ;)

Do you just sell bikes?

Nope. We service bikes, check out our menu for pricing and options to tune your whip. We also have soft goods like riding kits, jerseys, socks, shoes, gloves, helmets, and body protection. We also have anything and everything to strap to your bike to get you out of pinch on the trail or just to hold your snacks.

Meet the crew running the show below!

The Salty Crew

  • Chris - Co Owner

Chris's whip is hard to pin point. When you see this guy out on the trail he might be on his GT Sensor, Yeti SB115, Pivot Mach 4 SL, or his Transition Smuggler. He loves them all and can chat about almost any bike we sell. He's ridden almost all of them. He is our resident weight weenie and wheel guy so if you have some light weight questions ask for Chris and make sure to congratulate him on his new wife, Ilene!!!!

    Favorite Trail: Grafton

  • Amy - Co Owner

Coming back from Breast Cancer Amy can be found on her Bosch race motor Pivot Shuttle AM or her Pivot E-Vault. Her mtb, the Talon Swithcblade, is running Berd spokes and EeWing cranks. She is building muscle back after her treatments but regardless if you see her out on the trails or climbing LCC she'll have a smile on her face!

    Favorite Trail: Hobo Trail

  • Jason - Free Loader

As a huge fan of Pivot and their quality of ride Jason has a bike quiver of the Talon Switchblade, Trail429, Shuttle LT, Vault, and Firebird. Sitting at 6'4" he's riding an XL with a massive 240 OneUp dropper. He's always trying new components on his bikes the most recent being the Ceramic Bearing stuff.

Favorite Trail: The One I’m On

  • Piper - Pedal Pusher and Content Wizard

Jill of all trades in jobs and biking. Piper rides gravel, enduro, endurance, bikepacking, and adventuring. She loves pedaling and being outside. When she isn't on her new Trailcat LT with Hope hubs, Hayes Dominion brakes, and Berd Spokes she is either knitting or lounging in the sun. Piper also plans all the events, rides, and ladies shop nights.

    Favorite Trail: That Chunky One

  • Henry - Head Mechanic

Henry is one of the few of us still keeping the race plate fresh. He podiumed all winter at the Bootleg races, and snagged a podium at the BME in Brian Head. When he isn't on his SB150 decked out in Orange and Yellow he is punishing himself on his Canfield One.2. Converting it from the DH style to a more pedal friendly SRAM XO1 eagle and Ohlins DH 38.

    Favorite Trail: Temple Quarry

  • Bryant - Bike Builder

Bryant churns out the bike builds, whether its custom or out of the box he puts the same amount of scrutiny to each build making sure it goes out the door just right. He’s attention to detail led him to designing his own bike and having it manufactured and rides that beaut around the Wasatch. You can’t miss it with the yellow frame, and pink + silver accents.

    Favorite Trail: Change Reaction

  • Frankie Four Fingers - Mr. Fix It

This kid is our shop mascot. He is beloved by everyone. When he isn't repairing his own Ibis or Cannondale he is fixing anything from a 90's beater to rebuilding a motorcycle. If your bike is broken this kid can fix it. If you aren't sure what is wrong with your bike, Frankie can diagnose it.

    Favorite Trail: Rush

  • T Gnar - Wheel Whisperer

No custom wheel rolls out of here without Tanners’ stamp of approval. He rides a mint Pivot Mach 6 with Reynolds wheels and when he isn’t giggling, flipping his bike, or racing he is getting lost in the woods.

  • Connor - Grill Boss & Mechanic

When he isn’t grillin’ up the dogs or working on your bike you can find him on his Willow Green Trail 429 with XTR build and Live Valve. Favorite Trail: Big Mountain Trail

  • Trudy - The Wrench Wrangler

Don’t confuse this blondie with Amy, Trudy will schedule your appointment and keeps the mechanics in line and on task. She maintains all service invoices and communicates with you (the customer) to let you know if you whip needs more than you think it does, getting approval from you before we slap new parts on there.

    Favorite Trail: Mt Nebo Loop

  • Ivan - Tube Meister

This Grom isn’t as prickly as his hair. He’s always got a smile on his face when he is handling customers on the spot quick fixes like tube/tire changes, derailleur adjusts, or boxing up a bike. He rides a mullet Firebird and wins races.

    Favorite Trail: Pyrite Plunge

  • George - Gopher

This little Grom is the resident gopher. You tell him to do something and he’ll go for it. You will see him mostly answering phones, pricing items, and opening boxes. He rips his NICA races on his Cannondale Scalpel with a Fox Factory Orange fork and carbon wheels.

    Favorite Trail: Arcylon
